I highly recommend Anvil Roofing to anyone that needs a new roof or roofing repairs. Our roof was damaged due to hail during the pandemic and, as you can imagine, there was a supply chain problem. Sam and the team at Anvil not only drove their supplier to meet their commitment, they were also very proactive in communicating back to us on the status of delivery. Once the product was finally on site, they were very professional in addressing any issues that arose and provided good quality service completing construction. They did a great job with clean up and followed up with visits to our home even after job completion to make sure we were satisfied with the quality of their product. CLASS ACT. Came to our home with the proper solicitation permit in College Station! Educated us on everything roofing. Brought samples --the most incredible quality & protection we have ever seen in a roof -- our roof looks like a million dollar roof! Sam & John are phenomenal to work with--incredible work ethic and attention to detail for our roof -- matching all the vents, recommending solar vents (from a local company) to properly air balance our house, and installing a new dryer vent (we purchased) at no additional cost! We recently (Feb 2021) had our roof replaced by Anvil Roofers and they were great to work with and did a very good job. Caleb was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and honest. He was always prompt to respond to our questions or concerns. He and his team were quick, efficient and very careful and respectful of our property. Re-roofing is a dirty job but they did a good job of managing the mess throughout the process. We highly recommend Caleb and Anvil Roofers. Update Feb 2024... Three years after installation we are still getting the same excellent service from Anvil. I had a question about my roof and they promptly stopped by to check on it. This is a very honest and reputable business that you can trust to do a good job and back it up with excellent service after the sale. ~ Sam D

Caleb and his team replaced our roof last spring. They did a fantastic job. They arrived on time, were conscientious and cleaned up after themselves. We couldn’t have asked for better service. After last night’s storm we realized we had water coming in from outside. We had no idea from where the water was coming. I called Caleb first thing this morning and explained our situation. Knowing more rain will be in the area this week, he made it a priority to come out this afternoon to investigate. It didn’t take long for him to identify the issue. We were horrified to discover the hole in our roof was from a bullet hole. Caleb thoroughly explained how the repair will be done and he’s going to ensure the work will be done tomorrow! Talk about great customer service! It’s nice to know we can rely on Anvil Roofers. ~ Christopher C

My wife and I worked with Caleb. Very courteous and professional. Great to work with. Anvil replaced our roof and did repairs on our home. We had them repaint the house too. The various crews ( powerwashers, painters, roofers, etc) were prompt, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves. No mess left for us to deal with. The estimates that Caleb provided for the scope of the projects were affordable. When they came across some “hidden issues” with the roof decking and trim work, Caleb kept us in the loop. There were a few additional costs because of this, but not unreasonable. And they didn’t add too much to the final price tag. All in all, we are very happy with the results. After speaking with a dozen or so roofing companies I feel lucky that I decided to call out one more -- Anvil. This is the only company that came out willing to work with full transparency and write a full contract instead of trying to "bury" the details of the roof and materials so they could maximize their payout from the insurance company. Caleb was honest and professional unlike the other dozen companies that came out and tried to get me to commit insurance fraud (if any roofing company is offering you zero out of pocket cost -- run). John and his team have done a great job each time we've used them. John first came soliciting a few years ago, but we've called his for various leak repairs. Our HOA was upset that we didn't get permission and John sent them a full page email to defend his work, after he had been paid. When we needed a full roof replacement (due to HOA compliance), we looked at a couple of other companies but none beat Johns price, friendliness, and efficiency. He told me the work would take two days, and even confirmed that mid-day the first day. To both his and my surprise, his team ended up staying 13 hours to complete the job in one day! It looks great and we have a good warranty if needed. ~ Sara M

It takes a lot for my husband to trust a company to do work at our house and from the first meeting, he was impressed with Caleb and his level of professionalism. He answered every question we had, came back several times to bring samples for us to see, offered numbers of satisfied customers in our neighborhood and did everything we asked. Without a doubt, they were extremely honest, respectful of our house, landscaping and doing the job and not stopping until everything was done to our satisfaction. Their employees work for their company; they aren't temporary workers, so they care about the quality of work they perform at your house. I worked with Caleb at Anvil Roofers. They are really a top notch company. They really don't make them like this anymore. They were responsive and a great value. Provided a detailed quote and even left us with some sample shingles so we could decide on the color. Caleb answered all my questions. The crew was courteous with the property. But most importantly, a very honest company. I had requested that they not replace my roof jacks since I just replaced them as part of the house purchase (as a result of my home inspection). There was an order error on their part in that they ended up ordering the roof jacks so they went ahead and replaced them and didn't charge me. I would recommend 1000%. ~ Lisa W

Everything he presents will be detailed so you don't have to guess about what to expect and he has delivered what was presented. Also his pricing up front has always been fair with no need to hassle and there are no hidden charges. After replacing my roof in hot summer days, he stayed later to inspect the job they have finished and also he swept whole working area to make sure there are no nails and debris left behind. We have used Anvil twice now for work at our home. First for a repair, which we were very happy with, and then for a full roof replacement. We worked with Sam on both projects and he is large part of why we stuck with the company for the replacement. Sam was super patient and informative, guiding us through everything from learning about roofing to make decisions about what we wanted and later walking us through the actual work as it occurred. As with any large project, there were a couple of hiccups along the way, but Sam addressed each of them with speed and integrity. He truly made sure that the end product in both cases was something we were satisfied with. I’m sure there are plenty of companies out there that can do a roof job, but it’s special to find a company that will also follow up to make sure everything is just right. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Anvil. Our roof and gutters were in desperate need of repair/replacement. We obtained several bids and Anvil was extremely competitive. Because of the uncertainty with COVID, we didn't have them start immediately, and their follow'up was very patient and non-obtrusive. We found them to be extremely understanding of the situation and not pushy at all. When we finally gave the go ahead, workers showed up exactly when they said they would, and every day worked late to make sure the day's tasks were completed. They tore off our old roof, found more damage than we initially thought, but made sure to install our roof perfectly. They replaced our old gutters and also repaired wood that needed to be replaced and also did a perfect job painting. They completed the job exactly on schedule and we could not be more pleased with the results. Our 60-year-old house looks brand new! ~ Michael W

We had water damage and contacted Anvil roofers to take a look after the plumber indicated it was from a roof leak. Their guys arrived promptly and were very friendly and professional. They told us we needed to replace the “spout” things (I can’t remember the name) and the area around them, as the wood had rotted away. They spent two whole days working (from 8-6) in the burning Texan heat and only stopped to take a small lunch break. The roof looks so much better now! No more roof leaks for us. Sam is very responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The entire experience was incredibly easy for me from start to finish. He responded to my text and came out within 24 hours to evaluate an area of the roof that was damaged and causing a leak inside of my house. He created a temporary fix at the initial visit (it was supposed to rain heavily the next day) as well as a full evaluation of the condition of my roof. Sent over a quote and fixed the roof within a couple days and provided maintenance to extend the life of my roof! Highly highly recommend!! ~ Ritha B

I can't say enough about the inspection experience we had with Anvil Roofers. It was a pleasure! We expected that our 12 year old roof would be found to have lots of damage, but very honestly and thoroughly, the Anvil representative spelled out, with pictures and informative explanations, the level of possible hail and wind damage. He did not hype the situation to make the roof seem in desperate need of immediate replacement, but explained that it had more "life" in it and that he would recommend waiting until a storm might cause an insurance inspector to approve a claim for replacement. He even sealed around the nails and flashing around the vents stacks and under some shingles showing wind zipper effect- all for free! Yes, free! Who does that? Well, apparently Anvil Roofers does! We will be calling them the minute we have a wind or hail storm, or experience a leak. Anvil Roofers! Integrity, quality, well-informed, just plain nice! ~ Diana B

Anvil Roofers came by the house to check our roof after a storm came through our area. I was skeptical about the company and expressed my concern. Later that day the owner came by to discuss the project. They went above and beyond and took care of our every concern. Our neighbors watched the quality of the work and they also hired ANVIL ROOFERS. The project manager John Miranda made sure every concern was answered and taken care of. With the initial roof inspection by David it was convenient and thorough and once the repair people came to the house, felt like almost instantly, again very professional.
